Breaking News: Manchester United Finally Set To Announce New signing!

THINGS MIGHT NOT HAVE GONE AS PLANNED FOR MOURINHO AND MANCHESTER UNITED IN THE TRANSFER WINDOW BUT THE ENGLISH CLUB IS SET TO ANNOUNCE A NEW DEFENSIVE REINFORCEMENT.

Manchester United are expected to announce the arrival of 16-year-old Centre Back Lukas Bejger. Even though official confirmations have been made by Manchester United, it is widely reported that they completed signing of Lukas Bejger last month.  Lukasz Bejger is a versatile defender, who primarily plies trade at the heart of the defense as a centre-back, but also can play on the right flank as a right-back.

He can also play the role of a defensive midfielder. Bejger made his debut for Poland youth team as he featured for his national side against Scotland in September. He also captained Poland’s U-16 in a match, against Moldova. It was also reported that Manchester City, the defending Champions of English Premier League, were also interested in signing this youngster, but he eventually decided to join Manchester United.

The Red Devils have one of the best academies in the world, with now-regulars like Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford once their academy players. However, it remains to be seen if Bejger can further continue his developments as a professional football player and go on to become one of the best defenders of the future, adding another golden feather to Manchester United Academy’s caps.

Bejger could also become the first Polish player ever to feature for the Red Devils. Bejger, who is 16 now, will play and develop from United’s academy in the coming years. He still has some more years to wait before making it into the United’s Senior team.

Manchester United lost to Brighton and Hove Albion in their recent Premier League. Mourinho and Co will be looking to bounce back from the defeat and get back to winning ways when they face Tottenham in their next Premier League clash.

This transfer window didn’t go as intended for Manchester United. Mourinho and Co failed to sign defensive reinforcements this summer. While this may not be a recruitment to the regular team or first team, this signing, on the perspective these youngsters are tomorrow’s asset, United have made a good addition.
