Willian to Manchester United update: Decision made on £70m asking price from Chelsea

Jose Mourinho wants to set up a reunion with the winger at Old Trafford this summer.
The two worked well together at Stamford Bridge, where Willian was named Chelsea’s Player of the Year for the 2015/16 season, partly under Mourinho.
United are keen to add an extra attacker to their side, especially with Anthony Martial pushing to quit.
However, the Red Devils face strong competition from Barcelona, who have already had a £50m bid for Willian rejected.
Chelsea are open to selling so they can raise funds for signings of their own, but the 29-year-old would prove costly for United.
And according to The Sun, United are not willing to meet his £70m price tag.
The Red Devils have already spent in excess of that figure bringing in Fred for £52m and Diogo Dalot for £17.6m.
Mourinho has money to spend, but Manchester United will not be held to ransom by Chelsea it seems.
The Sun add Willian remains a major target, but no agreement appears close.
United are exploring the possibility of re-signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid, but Juventus are confident of landing the Portuguese superstar.
