Chelsea and Brazilian youngster Kennedy is delighted about his season-long loan to Newcastle.
“I’m so happy to come back to my second home” he said on completion of the move, per NUTV
The Brazil international passed his medical ahead of his move to the English side, as confirmed by Sky sources.
Robert Kennedy proved to be one of the highlights of last season for the Magpies and his move to Newcastle following his terrific performance at the club during the second half of last season has been praised by the club.
The 22-year-old scored four times for Newcastle in 13 appearances for the club at St. James Park.
And his return has been greeted by the club, ex especially the fans who had been wild with expectations over his imminent arrival.
His work rate has been commended by one of the fans who has called his help out at Newcastle’s defence as a “favourite thing”, one that is rarely seen in a winger.
Kennedy is tremendous against the opposition and although he’s lacking a bit in his finishing, he’s no doubt going to be a great addition to Newcastle’s squad again this summer.
The 22-year-old has described the English outfit as his second home after parent club Chelsea and he’s determined to make a much greater impact for the Premier League side this new campaign.
