Medical Completed, Chelsea Agree Deal For Talented Midfielder – Not Jorginho

Kenedy is on the verge of sealing a loan move with Newcastle United following the successful completion of medicals with the side, per reports.

Kenedy looked destined to be a top-notch Brazilian footballer but his spell for Chelsea has been full of ups and downs. He joined Chelsea in the summer of 2015 but despite being very well rated, he has failed to stake a claim in the first team of the side.

He spent the second half of last season on loan at St James Park, where he shone and impressed Rafa Benitez. He featured in 13 Premier league games, bagging two goals in the process, and helping them to retain their place in the league.

The versatile 22-year-old star was spotted on his way to Newcastle to seal a deal with the Magpies and now Sky sports reports that he has underwent a medical with the Premier league side.

He will join the side on a season-long loan move. Benitez wanted a clause where they would have an option of signing him at the expiration of the deal but Chelsea refused.

Kenedy can play as a winger and a full back, and if he continues to develop, we are likely going to see him donning the colours of Chelsea next term.
